The Conway range of CD housings is a compact, vandal resistant security solution which is already receiving wide endorsement for discrete appearance combined with outstanding performance in the toughest of environments.

There are four products, the CD1, CD2, CD3 & CD4.

The vandal resistance offered by these units stems from an exceptional spun stainless steel construction while a flat, UV stable polycarbonate screen avoids the optical distortion which is common when viewing through a curved surface.

The CD2, CD3 and CD4 are available in three formats. The single unit has provision for one camera looking out of the side while the double unit can have two cameras looking out each way at 1800 to each other. The wall mount allows a single camera to look at 900 to the wall.

The CD1 is available in the same configuration as the other units but with a camera ready fitted. There is a choice of high-resolution colour or black and white cameras as well as a range of lenses to suit all applications.

The CD range of housings has no angular edges and is therefore safe to use in public areas or environments where height restrictions are an issue, particularly multi-storey car parks. They are also well suited for use on corridor ceiling and the curved design will appeal to installers and specifiers working on police and prison locations where self-harm is an issue.

The curved surface is not only more visually appealing than an angular structure but offers a measure of protection from malicious attack. Garage forecourts will also be a favoured location since the stainless steel construction protects the housings from corrosive chemicals

A heater facility acts as an effective demister and adds to the list of environments where CD housings will perform effectively. They can be supplied in colours to suit the aesthetic demands on location as well as finishes that conform with BS476: part 7 (Fire tests on buildings and structures. The units can be painted in a discrete shade to make them unobtrusive or can be painted boldly to complement their surroundings. They are designed and manufactured to IP66 standard.
